Facebook disabled ad account! Get it reactivated again! [Updated]
How to get your Facebook Ad Account Reactivated!
If you have had your account disabled for the first time this can be very daunting and annoying. This is not the end and we can show you how to get it reactivated again.
Facebook’s ad system is automated from the moment you post the ad don’t take it personally. If your a victim of this then it’s likely you have seen one of these messages:
Your ad account has recently been flagged because of unusual activity. For security reasons, any ads you’re running will be paused until you can confirm your account information by contacting Facebook.Flagged because of unusual activity
Use one of the forms below to get your account reactivated or your ad manually reviewed. We have used these forms many times. It’s pretty common practice.
Unable to Process Payment
Another reason for your account being disabled is that Facebook was unable to process your payment.
Your ad account has been disabled because we couldn’t process your payment methods. To continue running ads, please pay the amount due.
To fix this head over to your ad manager here and make a payment: https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager/account_settings/account_billing/?act=407915103245029&pid=p1&page=account_settings&tab=account_billing_settings
Why was my Facebook Ad Account Disabled?
Truth be told we don’t know and neither does Facebook or so they say. To this day we have never had a response from Facebook. They will not tell us the issue that caused the account or ad to be rejected.
Try changing the image or text. One or the other is causing it. If your account gets disabled fill out the forms above and start again. As of this post it seems there is no limit for how many times it can be disabled and re-enabled. We was disabled 4 times in one night.
Inconsistency of Advertising with Facebook:
We setup an ad which was approved. We then changed the text to something else. It was rejected. We set the text back to the original approved ad. It was rejected. We did not change the image. We then changed the image and submitted the ad for review again. It was approved. It seems Facebook’s algorithm for approving ads is inconsistent and annoying.
Facebook Advertising Policy
Read through or skim through the policy. We did find some information that can help you eliminate problematic ads. You can read the advertising policy here.
Automated, don’t get annoyed.
To combat spam 99% of the review process is automated. Although we don’t know that for sure we can take educated guesses based on the experience we have had. Don’t give up and don’t quit.
Request a manual review of your ad when possible as a human will then be assigned to review your ad manually.
